Lumi And The Star That Fell
About This Book
The series combines gentle adventure, imagination, friendship, emotional learning, and playful activities. Each story takes the characters on a small but exciting journey where an everyday challenge becomes an opportunity to learn something important.
Book One: Lumi and the Star That Fell
The first book introduces Lumi, a curious little star who unexpectedly falls from the night sky and finds herself in the world below.
During her adventure, Lumi discovers Willowbrook and meets her new friends: Bibi the brave rabbit, Finn the clever fox, Toto the patient turtle, Pip the nervous little bird, and Momo the kind bear. Together, they help Lumi understand that being different or being somewhere unfamiliar does not mean she has to be alone.
As the friends explore Willowbrook, they encounter small challenges that teach them about friendship, kindness, courage, curiosity, and helping one another. Lumi gradually realizes that her greatest gift is not simply being a star—it is the light and happiness she brings to her friends.
By the end, Lumi finds that she has gained something more valuable than returning immediately to the sky: a place where she belongs and friends who care about her.
Join Lumi, a curious little star, as she falls from the sky and embarks on an adventure in Willowbrook. Along the way, she meets new friends and learns valuable lessons about kindness, courage, and belonging.

Meet Lumi
High above Willowbrook lived a tiny star named Lumi. She was smaller than the other stars, but she was the brightest. Every night she twinkled beside Nana Moon, the gentle moon who watched over the village below.
5
Willowbrook Below
Lumi loved looking down at Willowbrook. She saw warm windows, dancing trees, children playing, and a little rabbit who always looked up at the sky.
6
Meet Bibi
The rabbit was Bibi. Every evening she sat beneath a great oak tree and wondered what it felt like to be a star. Lumi wondered what it felt like to be a rabbit. Neither could hear the other. Not yet.
7
The Wind
One evening, the wind began to blow. Clouds rushed across the sky and trees bent low. Nana Moon called, “Lumi, stay close!” But Lumi was curious and floated toward the edge of the sky.
8
Falling!
WHOOSH! A powerful gust caught Lumi. Down she tumbled, past the clouds, past the moon, and toward Willowbrook. “I’m falling!” she cried.
9
A Soft Landing
PLOP! Lumi landed in a pile of soft leaves. She looked around. She could not see Nana Moon or the stars. “I want to go home,” she whispered.
10
Bibi Finds Lumi
Two long ears appeared behind a bush. Then two bright eyes and a pink nose. It was Bibi. “Are you a firefly?” Bibi asked. “No. I’m a star.”
11
A Real Star
Bibi’s eyes grew wide. “A real star?” “Yes.” “But stars don’t fall from the sky.” Lumi looked sad. “Well... I did.”
12
A Promise
Bibi sat beside Lumi. “Don’t worry. I’ll help you get home.” Lumi smiled. “You will?” “Of course. I’m very good at adventures.”
13
Meet Finn
A voice came from the bushes. “Are you?” A little fox stepped out. His name was Finn. He was clever, curious, and had a leaf stuck to his head.
14
The Problem
Finn pointed to the sky. “We have a problem. Lumi fell from the sky, and we are on the ground.” “How do we get a star back into the sky?” he asked.
15
A Team Is Born
Bibi thought. Finn thought. Lumi thought. Then Lumi smiled. “I suppose we have an adventure to begin.” They made three rules: stay together, help one another, and never give up.
16
Silver Mushrooms
The friends followed a trail of silver mushrooms through the forest. Their tiny lights looked like stars on the ground. Lumi began to feel less afraid.
17
The Wooden Bridge
They reached a little wooden bridge. It creaked when Bibi stepped on it. “Slowly,” Finn said. Together they crossed safely. “We did it!” Bibi cheered.
18
Meet Toto
Beside a quiet pond sat a turtle wearing a tiny blue hat. “Hello,” he said slowly. “My name is Toto.” Bibi introduced Lumi and Finn.
19
Toto’s Advice
“If you want to reach the sky,” Toto said, “climb the highest hill.” Bibi nodded. Finn agreed. Lumi thanked Toto. Toto joined the adventure.
20
The Climb
The hill was steep. Bibi climbed over roots, Finn found the safest trail, and Toto kept moving one careful step at a time.
21
Lumi Grows Dim
Lumi’s glow began to fade. “What if I stop shining?” she whispered. Bibi said, “Then we’ll stay with you.” Finn added, “And we’ll find a way.”
22
Toto’s Wisdom
Toto slowly caught up. “I believe you will shine again.” Lumi smiled. Her friends did not know the answer, but they would not leave her alone.
23
Three Paths
The trail split into three paths. Finn studied the ground. Bibi…
